COTA asks for renewal levy for first time since 2006
Public transportation in Columbus is in a state of transition. Voters will have to decide in November if they like the direction it’s going. The Central Ohio Transit Authority will be back on the ballot for a renewal levy for the first time since 2006, when voters approved a 10-year, 0.25 percent sales tax to supplement a permanent sales tax of the same amount.
