Costumed runners elevate fun at central Ohio road races
For her first 5-kilometer run in July, Ikeya Cade wanted to wear something to not only hide her “chubby waist” but also lessen her anxiety as a newcomer to organized road races. A handmade rainbow-colored tutu satisfied both requirements. Eight events later, the mother of four now owns a closet full of tulle skirts.
