COSI's dinosaur exhibit coming together

A 40-foot-long Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton - leaning forward to showcase its massive skull and 9-inch-long teeth - will greet visitors entering the "Dinosaurs Among Us" display, set to open Nov. 18 at the science center. The creature might suggest an installation nightmare, but, according to officials with COSI and the American Museum of Natural History in New York , it was constructed in less than two days.
