Cool, mild evening brings out crowd for Red, White & Boom

A little rain wasn't going to keep Doug Hiles from celebrating before Ohio's largest fireworks display. Hiles, 45, spent his Friday morning grilling in the rain at home in Lancaster before making the 40-minute drive into Columbus with his longtime partner, Teyvia Reid, 43, and their 16-year-old twins, Gage and Grace, for Red, White & Boom. "I wanted to bring the kids one last time before they were old enough to drive themselves," Reid said.
