Convicted identity thief mistakenly given inmates’ social security numbers

A convicted identity thief accidentally received the social security numbers of more than 2000 Ohio inmates through a public records request.
Lonny Bristow requested an inmate roster for the Chillicothe Correctional Institution. Bristow says he requests rosters periodically to see where inmates he knows are now located. This time, the list included all of the inmates’ social security numbers.
