Construction worker killed, another injured on I-70 east in west Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Interstate 70 was shut down for several hours on the west side Saturday morning because a pedestrian was struck.It happened around 2 a.m. Police said the interstate is closed between Rt. 142 in Madison County and Interstate 270.The Ohio Department of Transportation expected the road to reopen around 9 a.m.The person hit was a construction worker.
