Construction on I-70 in east Columbus will slow you down tonight

Expect delays on Interstate 70 in both directions during the overnight hours so construction crews can remove a pedestrian bridge.
Tonight the first of five construction projects for the I-70/I-71 corridor will kick off.
Construction crews will be removing the old pedestrian bridge between Fourth Street and Grant Avenue.
Once the 53-year-old bridge is removed, construction crews will start to build a retaining wall between Fulton Street and I-70.
