Columbus Zoo to welcome 2 gorillas from Wisconsin

POWELL, Ohio — The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is set to welcome two new gorillas to the family.Shalia, a 17-year-old western lowland gorilla and her offspring, 4 ½-year-old Sulaiman (Sully) will be coming from the Milwaukee County Zoo in Wisconsin.According to the Milwaukee County Zoo, Sully has a half-sister, Zahra, already at the Columbus Zoo since 2018.The transfer comes amid the Wisconsin zoo and the Western Lowland Gorilla Species Survival Plan's decision to place Shalia and Sul
