Columbus woman killed in Madison County crash

A young Columbus woman was killed when the car she was riding in Monday afternoon crashed with a pickup truck at an intersection in northeast Madison County. Alexa Howard, 18, of the Far West Side, was partially ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 4:10 p.m. on Plain City-Georgesville Road at Lucas Road in Canaan Township, the State Highway Patrol said.
