Columbus withdraws suit challenging red-light-camera law

Columbus has dropped its fight against a state law that effectively banned red-light cameras. The city dismissed its lawsuit against the state late last month, about a year after the state legislature approved new rules that required a police officer to be present when a red-light camera detects an infraction.
