Columbus to pay settlement in 2015 gas explosion

Columbus will make the first of what could be dozens of payments to property owners whose homes were damaged after a gas leak and explosion in 2015. Columbus will pay $37,500 to David and Beatrice Hamilton, 3430 Sunningdale Way in Upper Arlington, according to a settlement agreement between the property owners and the city.
