Columbus taking steps to secure future Hyperloop route

Local leaders are spending $2.5 million on studies they hope will help enhance Columbus' hopes of landing the Hyperloop rapid-transit system. The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is spending that money on feasibility and environmental studies, trying to show Virgin Hyperloop One that central Ohio is ready for rapid transit.
