Columbus shuts down Morse Road motel

Columbus police shuttered an extended stay hotel with a long list of fire code violations in Northland today because the owners do not have a city license. The Extend A Suites, 887 Morse Road, is the first hotel to be shut down under a new law requiring hotels to obtain a city operating permit. Columbus Police closed the 40-unit hotel at 11 a.m.
