Columbus ready to approve union contract for 2,500 employees

The Columbus City Council will vote Monday night on a three-year contract with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 1632. AFSCME represents about 2,500 workers in several city departments, including public utilities, parks and public safety.
