Columbus ranks No. 8 nationally in postal worker dog bites

It’s not just a humorous depiction in a cartoon. The classic story of postal workers being chased down and chompedby a protective household dog is a regular occurrence, especially in Columbus. According to data released by the United States Postal Service, Columbus ranked No. 8 in the nation for dog bites to postal workers in 2015. About 40 Columbus postal workers reported being bitten by dogs last year.
