Columbus proposing to raise water rates yet again

Water bills are likely rising again for nearly all Franklin County customers. The Columbus City Council is expected to approve a 3.3 percent increase in water and sewer rates next week, a move that would push water and sewer bills $34 higher for the year for the average four-member household in Columbus. Those living in most suburbs and other areas of the county would see an increase of about $40 for the year, on average.
