Columbus police help to save goose with broken leg

COLUMBUS -- A goose is on the mend thanks to the help of the local community and Columbus police officers.Police say the goose was found near a Menards store with a broken leg.Residents were concerned about the injury on the goose and contacted police.Police were able to get a hold of the goose and transport it to a wildlife hospital.Workers say the goose may have to receive several weeks of treatment and supplemental nutrition before it can be released back into the wild.
