Columbus needs more Downtown density to beget strong transit system, planner tells MORPC

The former Toronto city planner is a fan of free COTA bus passes for 45,000 Downtown Columbus workers, going as far as to call the plan brilliant. But Jennifer Keesmaat also told the crowd at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission's annual State of the Region luncheon Thursday that the buses have to be frequent or people won't ride them.
