Columbus murder rate declines from last year

Columbus police investigated 143 murders in 2017. It was the deadliest on record.Many of the homicides remain unsolved, including a double murder on January 23 in the 3700 of Eakin Road. Caleb Killen and Jawaun Reynolds, who family members say were best friends since elementary school, were shot and killed while sitting in Killen's blue Dodge Charger.The victim's mother told CrimeTracker 10 Caleb was a great kid who played college football in Florida and had secured a job in the banking industry
