The 2016 Nationwide Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon takes place Sunday. It’s the 17th largest U.S. marathon and the largest in Ohio.18,000 runners took off from downtown Columbus to either run 13.1 miles or the full 26.2 miles.Fireworks filled the sky as the runners started.24 of the 26 miles on this year’s course are represented by a patient at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
