Columbus man pleads guilty to attempting to provide support to ISIS

A 20-year-old Columbus man has pled guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS.Aaron Daniels was arrested on November 7, 2016 as he attempted to leave from John Glenn Columbus International Airport with the intent of joining ISIS in Libya.According to court records, Daniels sent $250 to an ISIS operative in January 2016 and told an undercover informant he was interested in traveling to commit violence overseas.Suspect accused of attempting to join ISIL may be mentally ill, document
