Columbus man identified after fatal crash on I-71

COLUMBUS - One person was killed in a crash Friday morning on Interstate 71 in south Columbus.It happened just before 10 a.m. on I-71 South near Frank Road/State Route 104.Christopher Cope of Columbus was driving southbound on I-71 in a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck in the far right lane.At the same time, Ashleigh Benton was also driving southbound on I-71 with her daughter in a 2007 Chevrolet Impala.Benton changed lanes when both vehicles collided which caused Cope's vehicle to lose control, stri
