Columbus man gets 3 years for wreck that killed girlfriend

Oscar L. Staton Jr. was driving with a suspended license when he caused a crash in which his girlfriend was killed two years ago on the West Side. A Franklin County judge sentenced him on Tuesday to three years in prison and suspended his driver’s license for life, but she isn’t convinced that the lack of a license will matter to Staton.
