Columbus lawmaker Kristin Boggs must run as write-in candidate

State Rep. Kristin Boggs, a Columbus Democrat, has withdrawn her re-election candidacy after she failed to properly sign some of her petition forms and was not going to be certified for the 2018 ballot. The move, at least for a brief moment, leaves Democrats without a candidate in the solidly Democratic 18th District that includes Bexley, Franklinton, German Village, Grandview Heights and Ohio State University.
