Columbus deals with developers will add 143 Short North parking spaces

Growing outrage over parking problems in the Short North has prompted city officials to swap public land with developers in two deals that will lead to more public parking. City officials have all but signed off on a plan to front $3.6 million in construction costs and city-owned property to developers in exchange for an overall increase of 143 public parking spots.
