Columbus council set to vote on ethics rules

The Columbus City Council will vote tonight on a new ethics policy that requires financial disclosure filings for more city employees and prohibits public officials and city employees from lobbying city officials for business for one year after leaving their public job. Establishing those guidelines is required under ethics reforms council approved in March.
