Columbus cites landfill for zoning, other violations

Columbus officials have cited the owner of a Southeast Side landfill for zoning and other violations — conditions that neighbors have complained about for years. Residents of the Alum Crest Acres neighborhood said they are tired of the noise and dust from nearby Alum Creek Topsoil and Landfill and what they say are the unsightly piles of asphalt and concrete rubble across the street from their development.
