Columbus area hotels expected to generate record bed taxes

Columbus area hotels are on track to again generate record bed taxes, after hitting a record $44.5 million in 2016. Experience Columbus, the convention and visitors bureau, estimates bed taxes will reach $46.2 million this year, up 4 percent over last year and 35 percent over 2012.
