City plans to install sidewalks around six Columbus schools

Sidewalks are coming to some areas of Columbus where city schools students have to walk along curbs to avoid traffic. The city's proposed $1 billion capital budget for 2018 includes $2.5 million to design sidewalks for areas that don't have them around six schools: Independence High School, Lincoln Park Elementary School, South High School, Livingston Elementary School, Highland Elementary School and West Broad Elementary School.
