Churches make Ohio State-Michigan wager to spur water donations for Flint

When the Rev. Ben Thompson preached at City Campus Church on Sunday, he pleaded with his congregation to donate bottled water for residents of Flint, Michigan. His main concern is for the thousands of people whose tap water is contaminated with lead. But there's also the matter of a wager he's made with a church pastor in central Michigan — a wager, he said, that will have him wearing "the colors of sin: maize and blue" if City Campus Church loses.
