Church has Sunday service promoting LGBTQ equality

Inside the North Broadway United Methodist Church, Sunday, members of the congregation wore a shirt showing unity for a cause.
The shirt had a simple message, "Everyone here is a child of God. Hard stop. Period. End of discussion."
It is not scripture. It is what many call common decency.
"I believe we're getting to a point where it will become apparent that all truly are welcome," Angie Cox said.
Cox is openly gay. It is something she never thought she would say inside a church.
"No," she said.
