Children Services abuse hotline number to change during upgrade

Phone service to Franklin County Children Services will be temporary shut down for six hours from midnight Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday as the agency upgrades its system. The outage may affect the agency's 24-hour hotline at (614) 229-7000. To make a child abuse or neglect referral, an alternate number (614) 653-0816 should be used, or the public can email Children Services at: FCCSHotlineOutage@fccs.us. The email box will only be active during the outage.
