Cherry Street becoming paved Downtown ‘park’
Chuck Webster has watched from his South High Street apartment as a gray strip of West Cherry Street in Columbus has undergone a dramatic transformation. West Cherry Street is now beaming with color, the pavement painted a royal blue dotted with red and yellow circles. Webster, who moved to Columbus from Washington, D.C., this year, said he is excited about the direction he sees the city taking with urban development projects, like the one unfolding below his apartment building.
