Central Ohio seeks to revive spring plantings after record frost
Brrrr. Sure was freezing this morning. In fact it was freezing, as far as the temperature was concerned. We tied a record low temperature of 32 degrees at 5:35 a.m., and that ties the latest date the temperature has dipped to the freezing mark since records started being kept in the late 1880s, said Myron Padgett, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington. It was also that cold in 1959.
