Census estimates a gain of 16,000 for Ohio's population
Ohio gained population in the past year, according to U.S. Census Bureau estimates released on Tuesday. Not a lot. But it’s better than nearby West Virginia and Illinois, both of which lost people. According to the estimates, Ohio’s population grew by just more than 16,000, from 11,596,998 to 11,613,423 between July 1, 2014 and July 1, 2015.
