Car runs over man lying in road; driver flees, is found

A homeless man who had been lying in the eastbound lanes of E. Livingston Avenue on the South Side early this morning was run over and killed by a passing car, police said. Officers were called at 2:52 a.m. to the area of E. Livingston Avenue and Alum Creek Drive. They said that Nathaniel L. King, 60, was critically injured when he was struck in the road by a Chevrolet Malibu just west of Memory Lane. King died at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center.
