Canada OKs hijab for Muslim Mounties

Muslim women who serve in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have been given permission to wear a hijab with their uniform. The change was quietly made in January after last fall's election that brought in a new Liberal government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Montreal newspaper La Presse reported.
