Calming aggressive dogs in police confrontations

LANCASTER, Ohio — Three years ago, Chesty the pit bull was shot by a police officer in the Dayton area. On Wednesday afternoon, the medium-size dog, whose scar you can barely see, sat quietly in front of nearly 20 officers as they were trained to better deal with aggressive dogs.
