Cafe Phenix takes flight Downtown

Cafe Phenix, a French- and English-influenced coffee shop, has opened at 39 E. Gay St. Downtown. Owned by Gary McConnell and Brittney Barnhart, the cafe uses Ohio roaster Silver Bridge Coffee Co., located near Gallipolis; French teas from Kusmi and Lov; and 134 syrups from Monin.
