Buckeye Lake cancels Independence Day fireworks show for third consecutive year

Once again, the fireworks show at Buckeye Lake has been canceled.This is the third year in a row the Independence Day fireworks show has been canceled because of construction and safety concerns.According to Licking County Emergency Management, local public safety agencies met with Buckeye Lake Area Star Spangled Tradition (BLASST) planning committee in March to review the annual event.They agreed the event should be canceled because of construction plans that creates safety challenges and conce
