Boyce denies attendance at pay-to-play meeting

Former Ohio Treasurer Kevin Boyce personally denied today that he took part in a meeting in which a former treasurer’s office deputy demanded campaign contributions for Boyce from a bank seeking a contract with Boyce’s office. “At no time – at no time – was I ever in any type of meeting described by the SEC in their complaint,” Boyce said today at a news conference at his home in Columbus.
