Bomb squad called to unattended briefcase left near Columbus convention center

COLUMBUS -- The Columbus Fire Department bomb squad was called to investigate an unattended briefcase left near the Greater Columbus Convention Center.The briefcase was underneath the glass walkway from the convention center to the Hilton hotel. Columbus police say the bomb squad was brought in as a precautionary measure.Shortly after crews arrived, an "all clear" was given and streets in the area reopened.
