Body found on I-70 near downtown Columbus

COLUMBUS -- Police are investigating after a body was found on Interstate 70 Tuesday morning.The Columbus Division of Police says it received multiple calls about a body on the left side of I-70 near Mound St.Police say a victim was located and pronounced dead at the scene.All eastbound lanes of I-70 in the area were closed but have since reopened.The Columbus Police Homicide Unit & Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.No additional details are immediately available.
