Bob Evans' closings a symptom of weakness in family-dining segment

Bob Evans Farms' restaurants aren't rising or shining right now. The New Albany-based restaurant and prepared foods company closed 21 restaurants in 10 states over the weekend, including two in Ohio — one in Huber Heights, the other in Toledo. Another six stores will close by the end of the year. In total, 1,100 employees might lose their jobs.
