Blue Jackets Winter Park to return to Arena District

The Columbus Blue Jackets are bringing back the outdoor ice rink near Nationwide Arena. The Columbus Blue Jackets Winter Park will run from Jan. 22 though Feb. 21 at McFerson Commons, south of the arena. The NHL-size rink will be open for 31 days of public skating, hockey and other events. Worthington Industries is paying for the park. More than 10,000 people skated on the outdoor rink set up for the NHL All-Star Game in January.
