Bipartisan pair of Ohio legislators propose exception to indoor-smoking ban
Allowing indoor smoking at more private clubs is the latest legislative attempt to create an exception to Ohio’s statewide ban on indoor smoking. In a rare pairing, Senate Minority Leader Joe Schiavoni, D-Boardman, is sponsoring a bill with Sen. Bill Seitz, R-Cincinnati, that would allow smoking in cigar clubs and other private organizations even if the club is among adjacent buildings, such as downtown buildings or a strip mall.
