Bill tightens control on violent offenders

Ohio Republicans and Democrats are working on bills in the Ohio House and Senate that would give judges more discretion with sentences and create a new policy for ankle bracelet monitoring. The bills were proposed in response to the February killing and rape of a student at The Ohio State University.
