Bill introduced to withhold pay from president, VP and Congress during shutdown
WASHINGTON (WTHR) - Three lawmakers introduced legislation Tuesday that would keep their fellow congressmen and other high-ranking government officials from getting paid during a government shutdown.Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine) was joined by Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) and Rep. Max Rose (D-New York) in introducing the Solidarity in Salary Act of 2019.
