Bexley passes ban on single-use plastic grocery bags

BEXLEY, Ohio - A ordinance banning single-use plastic grocery and carryout bags was passed by the Bexley City Council Tuesday night.The ordinance passed by a 6-1 vote.The rule would apply to all businesses in Bexley city limits and go into effect next January.A ban on plastic straws, drink stoppers, and cutlery would begin in 2021.
