Bell eliminated as Columbus school board cuts superintendent finalists to two

The next Columbus City Schools superintendent will be chosen from two candidates, one who already holds the job temporarily and one from northeastern Ohio. Meeting at Marion-Franklin High School on the South Side, the Columbus Board of Education voted on Tuesday night to go forward with interviewing interim Superintendent John Stanford and Akron Superintendent David James for the job.
